The forage pack matches plants on Florida Honey Bee Plants to the months they actually bloom here. Orange and mandarin open in March and April, then gallberry, saw palmetto, and cabbage palm from May through July. The brood-year pack asks what March buildup does, and what July and August do when nectar thins. Keeping Bees in Florida and the management calendar are the papers. Hive literacy sits in the middle so a nuc, a super, and Varroa have names before the calendar starts asking for feed.
